How did you get to be here, from when you were a 12 year old boy?

First, I read a lot. I developed my passion for sailing out of reading. I read hundreds of books about the oceans. From Mutiny on the Bounty to The Long Way by Moitessier. As a teenager, I started sailing with friends. After graduating from college, I sailed around the world with two friends of mine on a small boat for 3 years. It changed my life. I’ve been trying, ever since, to answer the questions I’ve been asking myself as a man, on my relation to others and to myself, by living my passion for the ocean and for boats.
